Refund and Returns Policy
Last updated: 5 July 2026
Rentalize is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, not a retailer of physical goods. This page explains, in plain language, how billing, cancellation and refunds work. It is a summary for convenience. The binding terms are set out in our Terms and Conditions, section 7 (Payment, Subscription, and Fees), and if anything here appears to conflict with that section, the Terms and Conditions govern.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable
Rentalize is billed on a recurring subscription basis. Because you get ongoing access to the platform for the period you are billed, subscription fees already paid are non-refundable, except where required by law or where Rentalize agrees to a refund in writing.
Billing disputes
If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the date of the charge. Disputes raised after that window may not be eligible for adjustment. See Terms and Conditions, section 7.2, for the full clause.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting our support team. Cancellation stops future billing from the next renewal date. It does not retroactively refund fees already charged for the current billing period, in line with the non-refundable policy above.
Early access pricing
Landlords who join Rentalize on the current early access rate keep that rate for as long as their subscription stays active. If you cancel and later resubscribe, your plan will be priced at the rate in effect at the time of resubscription, see the pricing page for current rates. Agency and Rentalize 360 plans are quoted individually and are not affected by the landlord early access rate.
What happens to your data if you cancel
Contact our support team before or shortly after cancelling if you need an export of your property, tenant or financial records. We are happy to help with data export as part of the cancellation process.
Failed or missed payments
If a subscription payment fails, your access may be suspended until payment is resolved, in line with section 7.1 of the Terms and Conditions. Continued non-payment may result in account termination.
Frequently asked questions
Do you offer refunds for unused months?
No, not by default. Subscription fees are non-refundable once charged, except where required by law or agreed in writing.
Can I get a refund if I am not happy with the platform?
Contact our support team to discuss your concerns. While refunds outside the circumstances above are not standard, we would rather resolve an issue directly than lose a customer over it.
How do I cancel my Rentalize subscription?
Contact our support team and we will process the cancellation and confirm your final billing date.
Is this policy different for local authorities, AHBs or agencies on custom quotes?
Custom-quoted plans (Rentalize Core, Select and 360, and any agency or local authority agreement) follow the payment and cancellation terms set out in your specific contract or order form, which take precedence over this general page.
Questions about billing, cancellation or this policy can be sent to our support team, or see the full Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
