About the Role

As Co-Founder and CFO, you will be Rentalize's financial architect. About the Role

This placement gives business, marketing, or communications students real-world experience at a growing PropTech startup. You will work alongside the founding team on live projects, not theoretical exercises. By the end of your placement, you will have tangible skills in B2B sales processes, digital marketing, content creation, and CRM management.

What You Will Do
  • Support lead generation and outbound prospecting campaigns
  • Write blog posts, social media content, and marketing copy
  • Help manage and update the company CRM
  • Assist with event planning and industry conference logistics
  • Research market trends, competitors, and potential customer segments
  • Contribute to email marketing campaigns and performance analysis

About the Role

This is not a coffee-fetching internship. You will work directly with our product and engineering team on real features that ship to production. You will learn modern web development, product thinking, and how a startup builds and deploys software. Perfect for computer science, software engineering, or product design students.

What You Will Do
  • Build and ship features alongside the engineering team
  • Write clean, tested, production-grade code
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and product discussions
  • Help with QA, bug fixing, and documentation
  • Learn our tech stack and development workflow from day one
What We Are Looking For
  • Currently studying computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline

Community Ambassadors help Rentalize grow its presence by sharing our story with their networks. This is ideal for students, recent graduates, or professionals passionate about housing and technology who want to build their personal brand while supporting a mission-driven company.

Do I need property management experience?
Not at all. We value curiosity, drive, and the ability to learn quickly. Many of our best ideas come from people with fresh perspectives outside the housing sector.
Are the volunteer and student roles really unpaid?
Volunteer and advisory roles are unpaid but come with equity options, direct mentorship, and real experience. Student placements follow your university's work placement guidelines. We are upfront about compensation for every role.
Can I work fully remote?
Yes. Most of our roles are remote friendly across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. Some roles may require occasional travel for client meetings or team events.
What does equity participation mean at this stage?
Early team members receive share options that vest over time. As Rentalize grows, so does the value of your stake. We are transparent about cap table and vesting schedules during the offer process.
How quickly do you respond to applications?
