Rentalize VS MRI Software

Rentalize vs MRI Software

Is MRI Software worth the higher price for Irish property managers? MRI is one of the deepest platforms in real estate, with 45,000+ clients and modules covering commercial, residential, lease accounting, facilities and energy. That depth is real, and so is the cost: single-module deployments commonly land around 800 to 2,500 US dollars a month, and multi-module enterprise contracts run into six and seven figures a year on custom scoping. Rentalize takes the opposite position: Irish and UK statutory compliance built in as standard, published pricing, and no procurement cycle.

FAQ

Common questions

It depends on what you need it for. If you require enterprise lease accounting, IWMS, energy management or global multi-entity consolidation, MRI earns its price and Rentalize does not compete there. If your requirement is Irish and UK residential compliance, rent collection and reporting, you are paying enterprise cost for breadth you will not use, and you will still configure RTB, rent cap, HAP and NOAC yourself. That is the trade.
Not as shipped. MRI serves public and affordable housing internationally, but the Irish specifics, RTB registration and rent review, the rent cap in force from 1 March 2026, HAP, Cost Rental, Part V delivery and NOAC performance indicators, are configuration and process rather than built-in workflows. Rentalize ships them as first-class features.
Yes, and for large housing bodies that is often the sensible answer. Rentalize runs the operational and compliance layer, tenancies, allocations, arrears, maintenance and statutory returns, while MRI stays as the finance and asset system of record. We would rather integrate than pretend to replace an enterprise ERP.
MRI deployments are typically month-scale projects with an implementation partner. Rentalize goes live in weeks, and migration is a scoped programme with defined milestones rather than an open-ended project.
Rentalize Core publishes its plans: EUR 199 a month for Essential, EUR 695 for Growth, EUR 2,450 for Professional, with Enterprise priced to portfolio. MRI is custom-quoted; published community estimates put a single-module ten-user deployment around 800 to 2,500 US dollars a month, and full enterprise deployments far higher.
