FAQ

Common questions

For Irish and UK residential, social and affordable housing, yes, and usually a better fit. Yardi is enterprise real estate software built for large international portfolios and investment reporting. Rentalize is built around the Irish and UK regulatory regimes, so HAP, RAS, Cost Rental, Part V, council differential rent, RTB filing and the Renters Rights Act work on day one instead of being configured. For a global fund needing investment accounting across many countries, Yardi remains the stronger platform.
Not natively. Yardi's UK and Ireland site lists residential, student, office, industrial and logistics and retail as the sectors it serves, and does not offer Irish scheme administration. Yardi does have affordable housing compliance products in the United States for programmes such as HUD and LIHTC, but those are US programmes and do not map to HAP, RAS, Cost Rental, Part V or the 31 local authority differential rent schemes. Rentalize calculates all of those natively.
Yardi is an enterprise implementation, normally measured in months, with professional services, configuration and training. Rentalize is designed to go live in weeks, with migration from spreadsheets, legacy Irish tools and other platforms, and the Irish schemes preconfigured. One Irish local authority went live and processed 4,600 applications in a single week.
Yardi does not publish pricing and quotes on enterprise terms, generally with separate licensing for suites such as RentCafe. Rentalize publishes its plans and offers a free pricing calculator, with landlord and tenant portals and native mobile apps included rather than licensed separately. For Irish and UK portfolios below true enterprise scale, Rentalize is normally materially cheaper.
Yes for Irish and UK housing. Rentalize is live with a local authority customer at 500+ units and handled 4,600 applications in one week, and the Enterprise tier adds student accommodation and full API access. What Rentalize does not attempt is Yardi's global multi country investment and fund accounting.
Yes. Rentalize migrates properties, units, tenancies, contacts, balances and documents out of Yardi Voyager exports, and will map your chart of accounts and scheme codes before go live. Ask for a migration scope and timeline.
